Its amazing how impressionable kids are.
When I was a kid I looked forward to watching Columbo with my father. The drama, the mystery, the excitement of the howcatchem was… well, it was so much of my childhood.
What I find funny though is that something so small from those days had such a lasting effect on me. I loose my keys all the time and when I do I pat my pockets. Just like Peter Falk does whenever he is looking for his keys With the same puzzled look on my face.
Its funny when you consider the things that make you who you are, where you get those little quirks (I don’t yet have stories of a significant other, but I’m sure I’ll spout little anecdotes at every available opportunity). I still find no safer place than in the crook between my lower legs and the back of the couch.

It is pretty interesting how our environment can shape our behavior and quirks!

And how something so insignificant can shape you!
